Pursuant to the Normative Ruling no. 3.795 of June 16th, 2016, issued by the Brazilian Central Bank, the term to submit the statements related to the Five-Year Census of Foreign Capitals in Brazil, with a base date of December 31^st, 2020 (“2020 Census”) expires on August 16^th, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. (Brazilian local time).

Those who shall submit the statement are the following: (i) entities located in Brazil that had direct foreign investment, in any amount, on December 31^st, 2020, (ii) entities located in Brazil that were debtors of short term credits (due until 360 days) granted by non-residents, in amounts equal or superior to USD 1,000,000.00 (one million dollars) on December 31^st, 2020, and (iii) the investment funds held by non-resident quotaholders, on December 31^st, 2020.

The false, incomplete, inaccurate information, or the lack of timely provision of information, may subject the Brazilian entity to a penalty of up to BRL 250,000.00 (two hundred and fifty thousand reais).

Please note that information provided on 2020 Census will make reference to December 31^st, 2020.

The statement shall be delivered by internet through the electronic system available on Central Bank of Brazil homepage (www.bcb.gov.br).
