We are pleased to inform that the “SindiEnergia” Energy Union achieved an important victory against the São Paulo State Treasury in a collective injunction that questioned the obligation imposed on the electricity distribution concessionaires to bear the payment of ICMS (Circulation of Goods and Provision of Services) contested in lawsuits filed by its consumers and not paid in due time as a result of injunctions obtained in these lawsuits.

Success in this injunction prevented significant financial impact for distributors and brought legal and regulatory certainty to the energy sector.
