Gabriela Melim is an associate in the Civil Litigation and Arbitration practice at Vella Pugliese Buosi e Guidoni Advogados. Her work is focused on complex corporate, contractual and civil liability disputes, as well as bankruptcy requests and executions, with an emphasis on procedural mechanisms, especially representing companies in the construction sector.
She also has experience in the corporate and M&A area of VPBG office and has been involved in the areas of Civil, Administrative and Strategic Business Litigation for over 8 years, having provided her services in a boutique office and as a freelance lawyer for a company specialized in bidding, in addition to having worked in Civil Court and in the State Attorney General’s Office.
On an academic level, Gabriela attended high school in Canada and graduated from the University of Vale do Itajaí (UNIVALI), with a postgraduate degree in Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV Law São Paulo). He has a cross-border research project with lawyer and professor Amjad Khan from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) on Contract Law, aiming at international academic production and teaching material to be used in his classes.
